Spent Nickel Band Flyer
I've been in the beautiful State of Florida since 1973. We came down from West Virginia and we love it here !! My first concert ever was in Charleston, WV on October 18, 1972. It was Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick !!! I've been hooked ever since. I even learned to play the flute because of Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull front man). I began teaching myself to play the guitar in 2010. I found out that I can sing pretty good, too. So, here I am several years later doing something I love and getting paid (a little) for it. My music interests range from Jethro Tull to James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, ELVIS, John Denver, Bob Seger, Eric Clapton, Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, Waylon & Willie, Van Morrison, Grand Funk Railroad, Blackberry Smoke, and literally 100s more.
I've also been hanging out with THE SPENT NICKEL BAND as their Lead Singer for a while. That is a lot of fun and all the band members are great people !!! Follow the band on Facebook for upcoming gigs.
When I'm not out singing & playing gigs, I really love to go out to eat and drive around Florida to see something new. When the weather is nice, I take my dogs for hikes, indulging in my passion for nature photography. Florida is a gorgeous state with so much to see and do.
I can't get enough of listening to good music. When I'm not listening to music, I'm singing & practicing at home to keep my show top notch for everyone who comes to hear me play my gigs. This area is a great place to play music that you love - 50s, 60s, 70s, just about every style you can think of.
